So after saving up all the money I could, I did some researching and broke down to build a new computer. I decided to deck it out as much as I could with the money I had. I took a trip to the local Frys Electronics store to do some looking. Seeing all the sweet new gadgets made me want to buy them. I told myself that I would only buy a case while I'm here and buy the rest of the stuff online. Sure enough after looking at RAM, Motherboards, and processors I was sure what I wanted. So I left with a Cooler Master Sniper case, EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI motherboard, and 6gb of Corsair RAM for around 400 bucks total. I went back to my apartment and hopped right onto Newegg and bought my velociraptor hard drive and Intel q9550 quad core processor. Although it seems like I got it all, I'm still missing my SLI video cards that I want and am saving up for. Here are the specs as of right now:
CoolerMaster Sniper Full ATX Case
EVGA nForce 790i Ultra SLI Motherboard
6gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3-1333
300gb Velociraptor Hard Drive @ 10,000 RPM
80gb Western Digital SATA Hard Drive
Intel q9550 quad core 2.86gHz oc'd 3.0gHz
Nvidia GeForce 9500gt
Windows 7 Enterprise
Keep tuned to see when I update it and also to hear about my ridiculous problem getting it built.
